I have an unpapered male miniature pinscher I would like to show. How do I do so?

I live in Washington state. I would also like to stud him out if possible. Please e-mail me at angelamariedudley@yahoo.com
Answers:
You won't be able to show him unless he is registered with the AKC or UKC. If his parents were both registered with either of these organizations, you may still be able to register him. You should contact his breeder if you aren't sure.

As for studding him out, nobody will likely want to use an unregistered male for their female, especially if he hasn't been proven in the show ring and had all of the genetic testing associated with his breed done.

More information on health problems in the breed that can/should be tested for prior to breeding:

sorry but if you dont have the papers then you cant show him and if you do stud him out then the puppies will not have papers either
You don't. No papers = no pedigree = no showing = no stud fees. Get him neutered instead. Then you could get him an ILP from the AKC.
if the parents were not akc registered, then your puppy will not be able to be registered. If both parents are registered pups, then you will be able to... you need to get the pedigree information from your breeder. They should have included this information when you purchased him.
You can get an ILP number, which would allow you to do AKC obedience and agility, ect. But not show. If you stud him out without registration, all pups will not be able to be registered either. Sorry for the bad news.
If you would like to show him in performance events then you could apply for an ILP number for him (provided he is neutered) and show him in obedience, agility, etc. But then of course you wouldn't be using him as a stud if he were neutered.
well if he is not AKC then you will not be able to show him in AKC show rings but you can send in 3 photos of him to CKC one has to be of his head and the other 2 have to be of each side of his body, with a CKC application, CKC does have show rings and agility shows you can enter your dog into,, go to www.ckc.com and down load an appilcation or get thier phone number and call them they will send you an appilcation in the mail and they will also tell you the photos you need to have him registered, I hope this has helped and good luck
also what color is he?
You can have him registered ILP through AKC but, you would be unable to breed AKC

You can also have him registered CKC
