I have a teacup poodle that is 3 yrs old and she was in heat and i put a diaper on her and now when i took it

off she has a real bad rash she has never done this before. it looks like mange but im not sure
Answers:
might just be a heat rash - try goin to the vet to get some cream or sumthing to sooth it
Why don't you try asking a vet.
she needs to see the vet she could have a infection
How often did you change the diaper? It almost reads like you left it on the entire time she was in heat and just now took it off. She probably has diaper rash.
mange comes from mites so unless she had contact with a dog with mange it is not likely mange. It is most likely an irratation from the diaper. You are probably going to have to stop using that. Did you buy a new brand?

try some cortisone cream but if it does't clear up in a day or so take her to the vet

Getting her spayed would resolve that problem as well as reduce some of her very high risk of cancer.
Its just like if you had a child and didn't change their diaper enough of a human lady wore a tampon and never changed it. She could have anything from minor irritation to an infection.

This is one of the many risks when you don't spay your dog. Risks also include mammary tumors, ovarian tumors and cysts, endometriosis, attracting unwanted dogs to your yard and more. Don't think just because you are watching her the neighborhood dogs ignore her. Nature finds a way even through a chain link fence. And if she does get pregnant, if the other dog is bigger than her, she may not be able to carry the pups and need a c section or die. With a tiny dog like this it is almost guaranteed. (btw no such thing as a teacup poodle - they are the runts of the litter of miniauture poodles. Or are the offspring of two runts) And besides the bleeding part isn't the whole part of the cycle. She can be fertile at times way before the humane thinks she is in heat, etc.

Please spay her, if you didn't guess that is what I was saying already. and since teacups are not a recognized size classification by the akc, you are obviously not showing her - and you should not consider breeding her either. Her life is just way more important.
why on earth put a diaper on a dog ,there is no way they can keep themselves clean,i have owned 4 bitches in my life and none of them have ever leaked anywhere
You should take her to the vet. If you're not showing or breeding her, why not have her spayed?
