I have the vet records, grocery receipts etc that show my boxer died of kidney failure and ate IAMS?

What is the best way to go after these bastards for killing my sons dog. She was nine and healthy but slowly started to decline. She was AKC etc. There must be a way to get retribution. If I went around killing pets, someone would be after me in a second. Anyone else in the same boat. I'm not a big lawsuit fan but watching mys sons dog fall on the kitchen floor and pee everywhere, druel etc. is gotta be worth something. Not to mention the 1K we spent on another boxer so the poor kid did not cry everynight. Cash would be nice but feeding one of the IAMS executives / laywers some poisionus AIMS product would be more than payback. I'm starting a website. mydogoniams.com it will be up in a few days. if you want to send in pics of your murdered pets and stories i'll be happy to post them. (no bullshit please) mumfrumson@yahoo.com.

Keep in mind, that in the midst of the food recalls, it's not the individual brands to blame, it's the consumer which they purchased the contaminated ingredients from.

Sorry to hear about your loss, but keep in mind, that the 1K you spent on a new Boxer, is NOT a suitable argument, because that's your own decision to do.
Just call the company or mail them and tell them what happened. Then they will be aware of wat is happening and change the ingreedience.
I,d say maybe join a class action lawsuit.

Try googling "class action suits against IAMS" or something like that. If I lost my baby I would be mad too. Good luck.

You should contact the company, but remain calm. Your more likely to get somwhere if your level headed and willing to work through the problem. You might also contact your vet and see what they say, who to contact, ect. I'm sure you can get some type of compensation for your loss.
Well, you can sue the dog food company, but consider this: the only ones who will benefit are the lawyers. It will take years (especially in the U.S.), you may have to pay the lawyer upfront, there might be a class action suite, %26 you won't get a new dog.
I totally understand how you feel, and I used to trust Iams before it got bought by Proctor %26 Gamble---but notice, many of the dog food companies are now owned by major international corporations.
I read something in the first weeks of the recalls that said animals show no affection so it would be hard to sue for them. While it might be hard to sue because a pet died - the person who made that statement is WRONG. My furbabies are very sensitive and loving to my husband and me and my parents.

I hope you're able to get some answers and some peace. What are you feeding your new boxer?

Reporting a Problem

Some attorneys will claim that pets qualify as 'special property' listed at this web site just click on the name %26 you can get the phone number.http://dogsadversereactions.com/petfooda...
Good luck
Your best bet would be to join the class action lawsuit against Menufoods. Its highly unlikely that you will get any money for the new dog you bought as that was your personal choice.

Hopefully you are feeding your new dog a better dog food than IAMS.
