Your dog is protective of you. Regaurdless of your beliefs, that dog will protect you. This is what they do, they protect thier masters. They don't know what they are protecting you from. All they know is something is wrong, there is a different sound that isn't normally there. It is up to you to find out what it is. This house may be haunted. Is it a bad entity, or something harmless to you? Have you been hurt in any way? You may just need to coincide with this entity. More often than not, they just want to know that they can stay in thier home.
