I have a six week old male yorkie. he has started his shots. it seems that he does not want to eat or drink.?

I can put him in front of his feed and water, he will just return to his bed. he also act like he has lock jaw. he refuses to open his mouth while trying to make him drink or eat.
Answers:
Take him to the vet ASAP. Some dogs can have bad reactions to the vaccinations. It's rare but it does happen. Go to the Vet. Good Luck
Please take your dog to the vet right away. My dog had a reaction to Heart Guard which is just a preventative against heart worms. It was just the meds that made her sick. Sounds like a reaction to the immunizations. Puppies need immediate attention by a vet when they are sick!
there is this girl on yahoo who knows all about yorkies!contact Justine 鈾?#39;s Her yorkie
I suggest you visit http://www.dogsvets.net and consult a vet or breed expert for free
The vet needs to be notified asap.
Also puppies should NOT start their vaccinations this young..they need to have at least competed their 7th week with 8-9 weeks being best.
Puppies typically will not let someone force open their mouths. He is not fully weaned from his mom. Too many people think that a puppy is fully weaned if they lap water and eat a couple pieces of kibble, but that is not the case. When a puppy is properly weaned, he no longer seeks out his mom for milk even though she is nearby and even plays with him. Instead, he will eat complete meals of either canned puppy food or moisted small kibble several times daily. Yorkies have a problem with hypoglycemia if they do not get enough food and water each day. You should return this puppy to whomever rather than take on the vet expense not to mention the chance of losing the puppy to hypoglycemic shock.
