I need help, my dog is sick?

I have a 13 year-old keshond dog. For the past few days hes been acting slightly lazy. Today he hasnt moved at all, isnt eating or drinking, and has rapid breathing. Wats wrong with him and how can i fix it?

maybe he has a mild case of bronchitis? You say he's been like this for a couple days? I would take him into the vet... because he's an older dog, you need to make sure there is nothing wrong with his heart... because he isn't eating or drinking, this kind of worries me. I believe the only thing to do would be to take him to the vet... if you don't want to, watch him closely to make sure he doesn't get worse. There really isn't much you can do, because this isn't something you can make him exercise off. In fact, making him work could make it worse, since he isn't getting any form of nourishment... I hope you find out whats wrong. Have an awesome night, and remember to watch him closely =)
Take him to a Veterinary doctor.
he might just be getting old.
it happens.
Go to the animal doctor
Thats what they are here for
def take him to the vet sounds like organ trouble or something even worse, seriously it sounds like either severe diabeties, cancer, or just old age causing organ failure take him to the vet soon
Take him to the vet. He sounds kinda old... it might be getting close to his time... Sorry.
take him to the vets asap. It could be hes over heating if its hot where you live. But I'd take him to the vets, it doesnt sound good, give him lots of love
It sounds like a seizure. Phone your vet immediately, and take him in. Bless your heart!
it really sounds like parvo but i think he is too old for parvo :( maybe he is just getting old and im very sorry all i can say is take him to the vet and they will tell you what is best :)
take it to the vettt befor he gets to sick the sooner the better
Get him to the vet. Has he urinated? Does the dogs breath smell foul like sulfur. The dog could be having renal (kidney failure). at any rate the symptoms don't sound good. Take him to the vet immediately.
If your dogs sick, no one on here can help you. Take him to the vet.
All we would be doing is guessing. He needs to have an examination and maybe tests done.
Your dog is getting old age,so invest in some bottled water or filtered water. You can filter your water with a Brita water filter picture. Chlorine in our tap water rec ks havoc on the older generation of people and animals. Chlorine is toxic and if you have lots of it in your tap water it could be harmful to your pet

Old Roy dog food from Walmart, the puppy formula, in a lite blue or liter brown 20 lb bag with 100% vitamins mixed with water might pep your dog up.

One or two aspirins or Ibuprofen taken with non-chlorinated water may help too.

Good luck

No one on here can know exactly what is wrong with him he needs to be examined by a VET. The fact he is not eating or drinking is extremely serious, he will get dehydrated quickly. Something is deeply wrong with him and this is not the place to self treat your dog for a life threatening illness! If your dog has given you 13 years of companionship you owe him a trip to the vet!!!
Lethargy, rapid breathing, not eating or drinking? Sounds like he is DYING. Please get him to a Vet quick!
Get him to the vet NOW!!
Dogs can quickly become dehydrated and will fail rapidly if they are not drinking water. Your dog may be experiencing kidney or renal failure, or he could be suffering from age related heart problems.

You need to be contacting your vet immediately, and if your vet is not available, you need to be finding a 24 hour emergency vet clinic to take your dog too.

Sometimes when animals refuse to eat or drink, they are waiting to pass away, I am sorry to say but thirteen is an older dog and this could be the natural process of dying for him.

Please try to get him some assistance and I will say a prayer for both of you.
SEE A VET!
If he is not drinking at all, you need to get him to the vet right away.
Hon, this is a job for a vet. If the dog is not dead, take it now.
Please call the vet!
first you need to call your vet asap. do you have a medicine dropper, if so try dropping some water on the back of his tongue. only about a drop at a time. also check his heart (put your ear on his chest, about in the center. just keep moving until you hear it and listen, does he have a really slow beat or an extremely fast beat. these are things the vet will want to know. many times you can find an emergency vet clinic in the phone book. it may not be anything, but i would be better safe than sorry, exspecially since it has been going on for a few days.
