My ex had that dog, she named him Rocky. For some reason that was fitting. He thought he was 6-4 with two machine guns for fists. He would stand up to anyone, so I guess Rocky was a great name for him.

it's always cute to give a daschund a name that suggests the "hot dog" thing (as some people suggested - oscar, meyer, etc.) My favorite along those lines is Nathan (another hot dog brand.) more subtle but still makes the joke!
