try craigslist.org also... humane soc. and animal rescue... also, try you local poice station... Good luck... I know how u feel... lost our dog on easter, but did get her back ... ill say a little prayer for you.
Contact your local shelter. Put an ad in the paper or StarShopper. Make posters, offer a reward, put them up, take them to local vets. Knock on doors in your neighborhood. Stop crying and do something positive.
I am so sorry. Hopefully he'll turn up at your local shelter. Call all the vets in the area also and make sure you go and look if they have a found dog. Sometimes they aren't the best at disiguishing breeds so if you have a picture bring it to every shelter and vet around. Also posters are a huge help also if someone found him. Put a ad in the lost and found pets section of your local newspaper. I hope you get your baby back soon!!!
Hang in there.
If you lost your 10 week old puppy, post "lost puppy" signs up in the neighborhood with a photo if you have one. Also place a lost ad in your local newspaper. Hopefully someone will call. And do check your local paper under "Lost and Found", to see if someone is looking for you with your puppy they found! Also check signs other people may have posted that they found a puppy.
Also call your local Animal Shelter to see if someone has turned it in.
If you can't find it, you may even find another cute lab/mix puppy at the Animal Shelter that would really love a good home with lots of love.
Good luck to you. I know it's hard.
I'm so sorry you've lost your pup. But the good part is that because he's a pup there's a good chance that someone has found him and taken him in. You need to contact the police department and animal control and let them know what happened. Contact animal shelters and vet offices in the area. Spread out. Dogs can travel fast and go long distances so don't just limit yourself to neighbourhood ones. Make lots of flyers with your pup's picture, and your cell phone number on it and put it on every telephone pole you can find. If you can, offer a reward. If the pup is on medication, indicate that on the flyer too. Put up flyers in pet stores and pet food stores and even grocery stores and sporting goods stores. If there's a restaurant nearby to there because the puppy might be drawn to it due to the smell of food. Get your friends to stand in local strip malls and hand them out. Take out a little lost and found ad in the local paper, preferable a daily paper. You need to get the word out that you are missing the puppy and want him back. Good luck. I hope you get your puppy back. If you do, see where you can get him microchipped. It's pretty painless and can help with these sort of things if it happens in the future.
