I know that puppies cant see open their eyes before 2 weeks, but is it true that they can't hear?

Answers:
They can't hear until their ears are starting to open. They do hear before they are opened entirely.

But even before that they can hear muffled sounds, and will look towards you when you talk. Probably feel the vibrations in the air and the warmth of your body and everything else too.

That is correct. Pups are born with their ears closed. Once the eyes open at 10 to 14 days the ears will open a few days later.

They can hear, much better then humans. Many people don't know that because people think they cant hear or see. its true, puppies cant see untill about 2 weeks old, but they CAN indeed hear.

Their ears and eyes open about the same time. Mother nature has them well protected for the first couple of weeks. Pretty cool huh!

They start to hear a few days after their eyes open. That is so funny, to hear all the little yips and yaps that they suddenly discover they can make! There is quite a chorus, once they know they can make a noise.
