I just got a black lab cross... Anything I need to know, or be concerned about? He's almost 8 weeks old.?

Hello..Great Dogs... we have one as well.. anyway..a good rawhide bone, not one he can chew in a day, probably medium or so..they are chewers..sometimes for a year or 2 - ours ate the arm off a couch ..LOL and crate train..use it like his dog house within a house..also great for potty training..beings he's going to get big, I'd buy big ..then block at least half of it while potty training ..or he is goind to need a doggie space, for the size he is now for potty training...all the instructions are on my 360 as they're a might long for posting..Take Care :)

They have lots of energy and need to get lots of good exercise. Make sure he gets a good 1/2 hour to 1 hour worth of exercise per day. The more the better.

did you not learn about dogs before you got him?

take him to the vet. feed him. crate train him before he gets too big.

if you can't afford to care for him, tough sh*t! you needed to figure it out long before getting him. dogs are just like babies. you need to walk him, train him, and love him. hopefully, you have a lot of time to do it. labs need lots of training.

Labs are great dogs! They need lots of exercise to keep them out of trouble, and it is best to taking them to obedience classes as they are quite strong! Have fun with your new puppy!

They are hyper! They also like to chew on things. I have a black lab mix and her favorite thing to do now is chew on a rawhide bone.
